Charlotte Potts Becomes Foundation Ambassador

Gateshead FC Foundation is delighted to announce Charlotte Potts has become an Ambassador.

Charlotte, who has recently returned to Sunderland AFC Ladies from Hibernian Women, has been working with the Foundation for several months alongside Ben Clark in delivering our holiday football camps for children in the borough.

Charlotte’s roll will include promoting the Foundation to other organisations, as well as working with Ben to deliver the expanding list of Gateshead FC Foundation events, from Walking Football, Football Camps and Football Coaching within schools.

“The Foundation is delighted to have Charlotte on board as Ambassador to help us keep growing in the community” said Steven Thornton, Head of Trustees.

"She's been a pleasure to work with in the last few months, and we can't wait to continue that in the future."

“I’m absolutely delighted to become an ambassador of Gateshead FC Foundation," stated Charlotte.

"Working with partners such as Gateshead Council to provide opportunities for all to participate in makes me reminisce of my youth days, when I used to consistently be part of community projects while my parents worked."

"It had such a huge impact on my development with life and football."

"My work experience in school was also to support events like camps, so I understand just how important they are in the borough of Gateshead and how invaluable my experiences are for these children."

"Witnessing their development along with smiling faces is truly rewarding!”
